Icon Tournament

Alright, so it's about time for another contest! This time, Otaku Junk will be holdng the tournament instead of having PI host it. The wonderful Cali is also helping out with the tournament and decided to sponsor it. You don't need a site to join, and if you happen to want to join late (after a round has already ended), you can still enter but just be sure that you have caught up with other costestants. Please provide your resource links when submitting your entries. We will provide you with bases per round if you would like to use them instead of finding your own, but they are not mandatory. The tournament will consist of 3 rounds:Round One
Starting October 3rd 2011 till November 5th 2011. You will have to make a maximum of 3 icons (yes, one is accepted as well) with THIS IMAGE or THIS IMAGE. Or you can use some bases of the images provided below:
What Cali and I will be looking for is diversity. I love icons that have their own flare or style. Colourizing, adding textures and brushes, blending.. etc. all in one icon would be nice ;) But of course, you don't have to. Simplicity can also be beautiful as well~
Round Two
Cali will release a theme for the next round. You may choose these images, but be sure it fits into what she is looking for. The theme will be released later on. Round two will start November 6th 2011 till December 14th 2011. You may also submit a maximum of 3 icons. More information will be released closer to date.
Round Three: Final Round
This round, you will be making a manga icon. You can either keep it black and white and just add textures and style or what not to it or colour the icon, it depends on you. For this round, you can also choose your own image BUT for each icon that you submit this round, I don't want duplicates of the image. So for each icon you submit, the base has to be different. The third round starts December 15th 2011 till February 1st 2012. More information will be released closer to date.
Other Rules:
- You cannot upload icons from your site that were already previously made. We like them fresh outta the oven.
- You can always change your entries even after submitting. Just don't re-submit everything...
- Again, credit your resources!
- Upload our contest banner or a text link before/after submitting.
- Only one person per site may enter.
- Let me know if you're dropping out of the tournament.
Prizes

The tournament will only have 2 winners. We might put in a third/special mention depending on how many entries we get. If you don't like any of these prizes, you can suggest a prize, and we might accept it (: It never hurts to try! So, lets list the prizes shall we?!First Place

- A Graphic pack of 12 items. (PNGs, bases, and icons can be uploaded onto your site if you'd like or you can use them personally. PNG and Icons = 1 item. Base Packs = 4 items.)
